Time with Dr. T.L. Osborn

Posted on September 7th, by Matt Shull in Blog. No Comments

This past week I traveled to Oklahoma and preached four times in four days.  Between services I packed in a lot of meetings and in one of those meetings I had the honor to meet with Dr. Osborn.  He shared so many things in our meeting but several points he made were so profound I wanted to share them with you.

1) You are Chosen

Ephesians 1:4 – “Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.”

God chose you to do the impossible on the Earth.  God thought you were a good idea.  You didn’t just choose God but God chose you.

2) You’re God’s Disciple

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are gone.  Paul and Peter are gone.  You are God’s ambassador on the Earth.  The same Holy Spirit that worked through them now works through you.  The anointing that was on them is the same anointing that is on you now.

3) Big People

Big People make other people feel big and small people make other people feel small.  Dr. Osborn made me feel so important.  His ministry was massive.  He has won more people to the Lord face to face than almost anyone on Earth.  He has been lovingly accused of seeing more miracles than anyone else alive.  Yet, he wanted to make me feel important even though my ministry is no where near what his is.

Have a great week and love you,

Matt & Alyssa Shull
